Islamic terror group, Boko Haram, struck again in Nigeria killing at least 23 people in a series of attacks across the northern part of the country.
The largest death toll came when terrorists targeted a group of hunters selling meat in Damoa, killing 18 and wounding many others.
The hunters were selling animals such as monkeys and pigs that, according to Boko Haram’s version of Sharia Law, is illegal for Muslims to eat.
Gunmen also opened fire on a group of men playing an outdoor board game in Kano. Gambling is also forbidden under Sharia Law.
Boko Haram is responsible for the deaths of over 600 people in 2012 in various terror attacks. The group wants to overthrow the government and force Sharia Law on the country.
