In The Midst of the Storm, Morningside is Blessed

This Christmas Season brought with it a powerful storm system called Goliath that has affected many states with ice, snow, killer tornadoes and massive amounts of rain. Missouri, Arkansas, Texas and Oklahoma were hit very hard but it was the flooding in these Ozark Mountains that many have asked us about and have seen on the news. Please know that the staff, volunteers and residents of Morningside are safe.

We want to thank you for your prayers and reassure you that Morningside was very blessed to not suffer the damage that many in this area will be dealing with in the coming days. Our prayers are for those who have lost everything, or have extensive damages to their homes, for the families grieving the loss of loved ones, and for the emergency workers and utility workers that are on the job around the clock, helping their communities!

God bless you!

  1. Thank you for posting this information…I was concerned about how things were there after seeing some serious damage in Missouri of flooding. on tv.. Thank you God for blessing Morningside and everyone there. Please continue to keep them safe in the days ahead…..<3

  2. Lenore near Rancho Cucamongo, California just had a 4.4 earthquake but there has been no injuries related to the quake. There have been many aftershocks. I usually feel earthquakes this close to where I live but not this one today. There have been many earthquakes around us in the last months. Saw a picture of Branson flooded all over the place. I guess you guys are up high enough not to get floods. So happy that you all are safe.
