Former House Stenographer Said God Spoke Through Her

Amos 3:7 NCV Before the Lord God does anything, he tells his plans to his servants the prophets.

A former House stenographer who lost her job after she interrupted the floor proceedings to deliver what she called a “message from God” has taken to the internet with her testimony about that day.

Dianne Reidy and her husband appear in a YouTube video explaining what happened in October.

“I remember just getting up to the podium,” Reidy says in the video.  “After saying ‘God will not be mocked,’ I don’t have a memory of anything else that was said that evening until I was escorted off the floor.”

Reidy said that she knew in advance that God was going to say something through her during the major vote.  She also said it was not the first time that God has used her to deliver a message to someone.  She said that she had three previous incidents:  at a friend’s funeral; while reuniting with her father and while speaking to a homeless man in Washington, D.C.

She refuted claims by non-Christians that it was a breakdown and not a religious experience.

  1. What a wonderful gift to have from God Almighty himself, but also oh what such great form of responsibility, and must be prayed about to use wisely and to check oneself intention on such messages to be given. One must be strong enough to withstand consequenes in following God’s instructions. Our world is becoming less kind to us who try our best to follow Christ’s teachings and God’s laws. We must stand together in support whenever and however we can. Then even if we are the very last ones to stand for what is right and good, we have the promise, that we shall never be alone, no not ever. God is with us always, therefore who can be against us? No one, not even the most highest evil one. We all know who is the winner here, there was never a doubt about that fact. It just will not be easy, so be steadfast clear to the end for our reward of eternal life with Jesus who forgave us and our Heavenly Father who created us.

  2. What she says is credible. I have a Christian friend who has on occasion spoken such “words” and she too she says she is aware it is going to happen in advance and then has no recollection of what
she says afterward. She says this is because God wants it to be a private conversation with the
person and it is not for her to know what was said. She is only a vessel or a conduit.

  3. Loving God breaks through to speak to us and warns us of His displeasure. Like a loving father, He wants us to remain safe and He guides us, instructs us on the methods to stay out of harm’s way. If we listen and follow Him, He brings us through as He promises. If not, we certainly will pay for our sins of disobedience.
