A group of anti-Christianists are getting their way with a Florida school board.
A New York based Satanic organization descended on the Orange County School Board after the virulent anti-Christian Freedom From Religion Foundation threatened the district over allowing Bibles to be distributed in schools. The Satanists wanted to distribute a coloring book praising Satan.
“This really has, frankly, gotten out of hand,” Orange County Chairman Bill Sublette told reporters this week. “I think we’ve seen a group or groups take advantage of the open forum we’ve had.”
The Satanic Temple says they just want to educate children about worshipping Satan.
“I am quite certain that all of the children in these Florida schools are already aware of the Christian religion and it’s Bible, and this might be the first exposure these children have to the actual practice of Satanism,” spokesperson Lucien Greaves said.
The school is now banning the distribution of Bibles because of the extra attention, which is the original goal of the anti-Christianists.
If I had children in a Florida school where the bible was banned, I would ban my children from attending those schools. Why should they be subjected to that kind of discrimination? If enough Christians took their kids out of school at the same time in protest, they’d have to change their policy.
It’s well past time for Christians to get their children out of the “public” schools. Why would we subject our children to this virulent hatred of Jesus and the Bible? The truth is, Christians should not be joining in with the nonbelievers (be not unequally yoked),. Jesus warned us that if they hate you, it is because they hated Him first! Bring up your children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Then send them out as arrows (missionaries) to deliver the gospel, in whatever vocation God has for them. Only if they are first firmly grounded in the faith can they share with others that life giving message. Children trapped in the public schools cannot defend their faith properly….they have the entire “system” against them…….And as this case in Florida shows, the anti-Christianists and Satanists, Wiccans, Islamists, or whatever, will always take the opportunity to pollute your children’s minds while they are trapped in the “prison” environment of the public schools…….By the way, it should follow that if all “religion” is being removed from this public school in Florida, that all mention of evolution (an unsupported belief system) should also be removed…but I’m guessing not.
Stand up Christians for your God-given privilege to live according to Holy God’s Word of Authority. If you cave in, you will certainly lose your liberty in Jesus Christ and your very life and the lives of your children, grandchildren and future generations. Be brave and strong! Stand against evil with God’s Word as your Sword against evil trying to devour you and your families. Almighty God if for you! So who can be against you?
Why are you allowing evil to have a place in your hearts and in your nation? Each will have to answer to Living and Almighty God for not standing for Him when you had the opportunity:
“Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the Glory of His Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:34-38
