The FBI is vowing a worldwide investigation into the Boston bombing but admitted that they have no suspects in the attack.
“At this time there are no claims of responsibility,” FBI officials said in a press conference Tuesday. “The range of suspects and motives remains wide open.”
Doctors at various Boston area hospitals have said they do not expect any more fatalities as a result of the bombing but the total of injured has climbed to 176.
The FBI released photos showing the bombs were placed inside black nylon bags or backpacks. They also showed pieces of a pressure cooker that was used in one of the attacks.
While no one has claimed responsibility, the Taliban was quick to offer a denial. Despite threatening to make attacks on the U.S., the group says they had nothing to do with the Boston bombings.
