The legendary BeBe Winans is coming back to Grace Street!
In the early 1980s, a brother and sister from Detroit, Michigan moved to North Carolina to become background vocalists on an internationally viewed daily Christian program…
The PTL Club.
A few years later in 1984, BeBe and his sister CeCe released “Lord Lift Us Up” on the PTL record label in response to massive reactions from the PTL partners. This release lead to five more albums as a duo before pursuing solo careers.
Over the next decades, BeBe sang around the world and in front of world leaders including President George W. Bush at his request during various salutes to the men and women of our armed forces.
In addition to his musical accomplishments, BeBe has performed on Broadway as part of the cast of The Color Purple. He’s also hosted two successful syndicated radio programs including The BeBe Experience heard on Sirius XM’s Praise Channel.
In a rare glimpse into the inner world of Whitney Houston, BeBe has just written a new book from Worthy Publishing, “The Whitney I Knew.” BeBe’s behind-the-scenes account of Whitney’s life and friendship will imprint her legacy in readers’ memories through his honest depiction of her as a treasured friend, sister, and artist.
