Car bombs in and around Baghdad killed 14 and wounded over 50 on Thursday.
A car bomb at dawn targeted a government building in Taji and at least 8 of the dead were killed when a car bomb exploded outside a crowded market. The market bomb is responsible for 30 of the wounded.
Almost 200 people have been killed in Iraq in June which is significantly higher than previous months. In addition to the car bombs, a police patrol and an anti-al-Qaeda checkpoint were also attacked.
Most of the attacks are being blamed on al-Qaeda related Sunni miliants.
