Anti-Christian Group Successful In Removing Jesus Portrait From School

Mark 13:13 “You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.”

The anti-Christian group Freedom from Religion Foundation has succeeded in removing a picture of Jesus from a southern Ohio school.

The FFRF, along with the ACLU, had sued the Jackson City School District to remove a portrait of Jesus that hung in the middle school’s “Hall of Honor” on behalf of a student and parents who refused to be identified.

The anti-Christian group said the portrait meant the school was promoting Jesus in a violation of the Constitution.

The picture was originally posted in 1947 by a Christian student organization that later moved the picture to the high school where the organization is still active. However, the school says they cannot afford the costs of fighting the ACLU & FFRF in court and removed the picture.
