Luke 17:28-30 “Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built” but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.
Christian Bale, the actor playing Moses in the upcoming film “Exodus: Gods and Kings” has publicly slammed the Biblical leader as mentally ill.
“I think the man was likely schizophrenic and was one of the most barbaric individuals that I ever read about in my life,” Bale said to international media. Bale told the reporters that he really had no knowledge of the Bible and had to do “significant research” for the role.
The director of the film, Ridley Scott, also remarked that they will completely dismiss the truth of the Bible when enacting parts of the story such as the parting of the Red Sea.
The movie will claim it was not God who did it, but an earthquake.
“You can’t just do a giant parting, with walls of water trembling while people ride between them,” Scott said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, referring to the film “The Ten Commandments.” “I didn’t believe it then, when I was just a kid sitting in the third row. I remember that feeling, and thought that I’d better come up with a more scientific or natural explanation.”
The movie will hit theaters on December 12th.
I forgot to mention “Son of God”. That was a good movie. But Hollywood is no longer a community of believers in God. They take away from the Bible and make the biblical characters seem barbaric or schizo vs the heros they are… They take the light of God out of the movie. The movie “Noah” was another example of this. They made him seem like he was a drunkard and out of his mind. Where does their interpretation come from? It is a sadness for me to see this happening to our world. Darkness is covering the land.
I don’t wish to see anymore Hollywood versions of Bible stories. There has only been one movie I have been to see so far and that was Heaven is for Real that gives the credit to God and not some delusion or trauma. It makes me sad what Hollywood is becoming…a puppet for evil intentions! I rarely go to any movies anymore. I enjoy the old movies where people actually believed in God and had values on screen.
