She received her BA from St. Thomas Aquinas College, New York and completed her certification in Nutrition from the National Institute of Nutritional Education.
Lori started working for Bee Alive in 1984 when her mother, Madeline, founded the company in the basement of their home. Throughout the years she held many roles at Bee Alive. She began as a phone sales representative, a call center supervisor, a motivational manager, helping people to be their best physically, emotionally and mentally. She also worked as a buyer alongside her mother looking for promotional products for QVC and gifts for their Bee Alive customers.
In June 2016 her eldest son, Thomas McGuire suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury leaving him a quadriplegic which required her to devote a great deal of time helping with his daily care. The last two years have been a difficult time for Lori and the Balletta family but through God’s grace and blessing she has been able to persevere and prayerfully continue her Bee Alive journey. She now spends her days between Bee Alive responsibilities and caring for her son in the afternoon and evenings.
Whether it’s her role as a spokesperson for the Mental Health Association of Rockland or being there for her customers in need, Lori is a true inspiration and is dedicated to helping people to bee happy, bee healthy and bee alive!
