David has a history of successfully growing companies in the health and wellness space through his ability to identify the best go-to-market strategy and build strong management teams. He provides strong leadership and experience to build and grow Food for Health.
As the CEO of Lifevantage Corp., David grew revenues from $3 million a year to over $200 million in just over 3 years by taking the company out of retail and into direct marketing. As CEO of Metabolife, he increased revenue from $120 million to almost $500 million by taking the company into retail. And at Natural Balance, he increased revenue more than 500% by expanding distribution from health food stores into the larger food, drug and mass market channel.
Prior to his experience as a business executive, David, who is fluent in Japanese, was a corporate attorney specializing in corporate transactions, particularly on the Pacific Rim. David is a graduate of Brigham Young University and Cornell Law School and recently moved from San Diego, where he and his wife raised their four children, to Alpine, Utah.
