The kingdoms of this world are colliding with something more powerful than money – they are colliding with the Word of God that prophesies of their demise throughout the history of time. In the 11th chapter of Revelations, we see the end result of this collision:
“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.”
We do not have to be afraid. The Word of God holds not only the answers to the mysteries of these days we are living in, but it is also holds the road map to prepare yourself and your family for what lies ahead.
We have to acknowledge, at some point, that everything the Bible says will take place in the Last Days, is taking place NOW – this is it! We are right now hearing, seeing and feeling the effects of the events of the End Times.
Here is a short list of things the Bible tells us are signs of the Revelation Days:
- Wars and rumors or wars
- Pestilences
- Economic collapse
- Bizarre weather patterns and conditions
- Volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis
- Love growing cold – families turning against one another
- Knowledge increasing
- Men’s hearts failing them for fear
- Christian persecution
- Famines
Yet, believe it or not, there are those who just will not acknowledge the gravity of the hour. Though the signs are all around us, they say “has it not been that way since the beginning?” in defiance of God’s prophetic warnings and in defense of their unbelief and stubbornness (hardness of heart). They did the same thing in the days of Noah before the flood. They scoffed and ridiculed… until it started to rain.
In the End Times, the scriptures warn in Matthew 24:37: “And as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man.” They choose to live in a kind of que sera’ sera’ existence – whatever will be, will be mind-set. Even today, some Christians are especially predisposed to this sort of thinking, based upon the belief that they will be “raptured” out of any difficult times.
Though our Hope is sure, the Bible just does not bear out that we will not have to endure some of the Times of Trouble ahead. Even those within the Body of Christ who do believe we will see at least part of the Times of Trouble before we are raptured, have, for some reason, delayed their planning for it. Why?
Is there a foolishness in the hearts of men that may attach itself to the belief that deliberate delay in planning may affect His hour?
Be not deceived, God is not mocked. The Bible says that in an hour you think not, the Son of Man comes.
We will be comforted during the Times of Trouble, and we are not appointed to God’s wrath; but Jesus warns over and over to prepare, both physically and spiritually for what is coming during these times.
The speed with which Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled is mind-boggling. It’s time NOW to get our heads on straight and get our hearts right with God It’s time NOW to prepare for Times of Trouble.
People may say “Oh Jim, why don’t you lighten up and just enjoy Christmas”? I do enjoy Christmas for many, many reasons. My heart is full of joy when I think of all the reasons Jesus was born – and I think of them often!
But, I wouldn’t be a Friend of God or your friend if I didn’t tell you what I’m sensing and hearing. It’s time to run to God – it’s time to run into the Strong Tower of God and be safe! It’s time to get ready for the great waves of the Times of Trouble. They are upon us.
Proverbs 18:10 tells us ” The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runs into it, and they are safe.”
God loves you – and so do I.
