India Arrests Terrorist Leader

Revelation 6:3-4 NCV When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given power to take away peace (prosperity, rest) from the earth and to make people kill each other (butcher, slaughter, to maim violently, in streets), and he was given a big sword (assassins sword, terrorist, loud, mighty, sore afraid).

Police in India announced the arrest of one of their most wanted terrorists.

Yasin Bhatkal, the leader of the Indian Mujahideen terror group, was caught close to the border with Nepal according to government officials. His group is responsible for a series of bomb attacks including a coordinated attack in Mumbai in July 2011 that killed 27 and injured dozens.

The government had a $1 million rupee reward on Bhatkal.

The group was first designated a terror group and outlawed in 2010 after bombing a German bakery, killing 17 and wounding 64.

Security observers in India say the capture is a huge success for intelligence forces.

“Catching a trained terrorist is very difficult and, therefore, I feel it is a great success,” former home secretary RK Singh told NDTV news. He called Bhatkal “one of the most active terrorists in the region.”
