Somalian Terrorist Group Starts To Splinter

Revelation 6:3-4 NCV When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given power to take away peace (prosperity, rest) from the earth and to make people kill each other (butcher, slaughter, to maim violently, in streets), and he was given a big sword (assassins sword, terrorist, loud, mighty, sore afraid).

The al-Qaeda related terrorist group al-Shabab is starting to show signs of breaking apart.

A major battle between two factions of the group took place in Brava on Thursday killing six militants. Officials believe this to be the first time since the terrorist group formed in 2006 that divisions have been seen within the ranks.

The group has been losing key battles with African Union and Somalian troops over the last six months that has caused some discouragement among some of the terror cell’s members. Brava has been a major base of operations for the group since losing many other towns to the combined government force.

Al-Shabab is fighting to overthrow the government to install harsh Sharia Law on everyone regardless of his or her faith. One of the points of discord in the group is the affiliation with al-Qaeda, which one of the group’s factions is trying to denounce.
