Central Oklahoma was shaken by a series of earthquakes starting around 1:45 a.m. and lasting through almost 5:20 a.m. Three of the quakes centered around Luther including the strongest quake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale.

The five earthquake measured 3.0, 4.3, 2.8, 3.3 and 4.2.

The quakes did not cause significant damage to homes in the region and no injuries.

Jana Pursley of the U.S. Geological Survey said that the quakes were 3 miles deep and it’s common for the area. It’s also common for multiple quakes.
