North Korea Threatens Pre-Emptive Nuclear Strike On U.S.

Matthew 24:6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.

North Korea, on the heels of announcing they are considering ending the armistice with South Korea after 60 years, vowed to exercise its right to launch a pre-emptive nuclear strike against the United States if the United Nations imposes more sanctions against the country.

“As long as the United States is willing to spark nuclear war our forces will exercise their right to a pre-emptive nuclear strike,” said North Korea’s foreign ministry.

North Korea also said that they would begin “surgical strikes” on South Korea on March 11th because of ongoing military drills between South Korea and the United States. South Korea said they would respond to any aggression by its northern neighbor.

The UN sanctions against North Korea, proposed by China and the United States, will impose sanctions against North Korean diplomats, cash transfers and access to luxury goods. It will also impose freezes on assets of people and companies connected to the North Korean military.

Also, Australia announced they are delaying the opening of a North Korean embassy in their nation’s capital. The delay will be connected to the UN Security Council resolution.
