Currently the death toll rises as the Center of Paris is on lockdown. There have been attacks in at least three locations. a Paris Cambodian restaurant, an explosion in a bar that is near the Paris futbol stadium and at Bataclan Arts Centre concert hall. Other shootings have been reported but not confirmed at a Shopping Mall, another restaurant and the Louvre Museum. A hostage situation continues with reports of at least 60 hostages at the Bataclan Arts Centre.
Witnesses, according to the BBC described several gunman storming into the Bataclan Arts Centre firing their weapons into the air and shooting people on their way in.
As many as 60 people have been killed with countless injuries.
President Francois Hollande has closed the French borders, issued a state of emergency and is asking people in Paris to stay indoors.
The situation is still ongoing with numerous attacks being reported spreading out from the center of Paris.
A Brazilian man who visited Guinea is being tested for Ebola, Brazil’s Health Minister Marcelo Castro said on Wednesday.
The 46-year-old man arrived in Brazil on Nov. 6 and developed high fever with muscle pains and headaches two days later, he said. Officials declined to provide the man’s name.
After going to the emergency health clinic in Minas Gerais he was transferred to an infectious disease hospital in Rio de Janeiro. The Unit at Minas Gerais was shut down as a preventive measure.
According to Reuters, Guinea is one of three impoverished West African countries, along with Liberia and Sierra Leone, that have suffered with the most deadly outbreak of the Ebola virus in recent years.
As a precaution and medical workers or other patients who had contact with the man are being monitored by health officials. Brazil immediately informed international health authorities of the suspected case.
The National Weather Service’s Climate prediction Center has announced that El Niño is already is strong and mature and is forecasted to gain strength. This El Niño is expected to be among the three strongest on record since 1950.

El Niño is an anomalous, yet periodic, warming of the central and eastern equatorial Pacific Ocean. For reasons still not well understood, every two to seven years, this patch of ocean warms for six to 18 months according to Weather.com.
Generally, El Niño doesn’t peak in California until January, February and March, Bill Patzert, climatologist for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in La Cañada Flintridge said. That’s when Californians should expect “mudslides, heavy rainfall, one storm after another like a conveyor belt.”
Forecasters predict warmer temperatures in the North over the winter due to El Niño with more precipitation of snow and ice as well as possible tornadoes in the South and Midwest.
After Russia’s President Vladimir Putin’s decision to suspend all Russian flights to Egypt after the Oct. 31 crash of a Russian passenger jet in Egypt that killed all 224 people on board, the Russian state aviation agency announced on Friday that it is banning Egypt’s national carrier from flying to Russia.
The only airline flying between the two countries is EgyptAir and this move was to ensure that it meets safety requirements, Russian media reported.
Sinai Province, a group affiliated with the Islamic State, has repeatedly claimed it brought down Metrojet Flight 9268, flying from the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh to the Russian city of St. Petersburg.
News reports state that Western officials believe there is a strong possibility that a bomb exploded on the plane, but Russia and Egypt say it is too early to draw conclusions.
Many have speculated that a bomb was placed on the plane in Egypt by a worker or workers at the Sharm el-Sheikh airport.
Several countries, including the UK, have halted flights to and from the resort due to intelligence concerns.
According to Reuters, an airport official said the ban on EgyptAir flights would take effect on Saturday.

Kurdish Iraqi fighters, backed by U.S. airstrikes, launched an assault Thursday aimed at retaking the strategic town of Sinjar. ISIS had seized Sinjar last year murdering, raping, and enslaving thousands of Yazidis.
According to Reuters, the Kurds have captured three villages and penetrated parts of Highway 47, a supply route between Raqqa in Syria and the Iraqi city of Mosul, both of them Islamic State base areas.
“The ground assault began in the early morning hours of Nov. 12, when peshmerga units successfully established blocking positions along Highway 47 and began clearing Sinjar,” said the coalition in a statement.
Some 7,500 Kurdish fighters were deployed on a three-pronged front seeking to reclaim Sinjar, Kurdish authorities said.
Another spokesman, Col. Steve Warren, told the Reuters news agency that some U.S. advisers were among the peshmerga ground forces to help with targeting airstrikes. He gave no further details. The Associated Press reported that a small American military team was seen on a hilltop, directing and confirming airstrikes
The Washington Post reported that the capture of Sinjar by Islamic State militants in August 2014 sent tens of thousands of Yazidis fleeing to Mount Sinjar, where they became trapped. Thousands of women were captured by the group and have been used as sex slaves.
Should the Kurds win a victory in Sinjar it may give government forces and Shiite militias the biggest push to increase efforts to defeat the Islamic State. ISIS still controls large areas of Iraq and Syria.
Thousands of protesters marched outside the palace compound in Kabul on Wednesday to denounce recent abductions and killings of seven members of the Hazara Shiite minority.
Before arriving at the palace gates, the protesters walked for almost four hours carrying the green-draped coffins of seven Hazaras who had been kidnaped and beheaded — four men, two women and a nine-year-old girl, Shukria. Many chanted “Death to the Taliban,” ”Down with the Government” and “Death to Pakistan.” The government is convinced the deaths were caused by an Islamic State group.
10,000 people marched to demand justice for the Shiite minority and called on the government to do more to ensure the nation’s security or step down. The protests come from the growing discontent at the government’s inability to counter groups such as the Taliban and Islamic State-inspired factions.
According to news reports, at one point, presidential guards opened fire as some of the protesters who tried to scale the walls and get into the palace grounds. The president’s deputy spokesman, Zafar Hashemi, said the shooting wounded 10 people.
Shortly afterward, Ghani went live on national television, appealing for calm and promising that the Hazara deaths would be avenged. “The nation’s pain is my pain,” he said, vowing the authorities would have “no mercy” on the killers.
“Like you, I will not calm down until the perpetrators of these crimes are brought to justice. We shall revenge the blood of our brothers and sisters,” he said, adding that the “enemies of Afghanistan” are trying to create disunity and “bring ethnic and sectarian violence” to the country.
A winter storm warning or blizzard warning was in effect for parts of Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas through Wednesday afternoon and evening in some places. Tornadoes and high winds could rake parts of the Midwest on Wednesday afternoon as well. Sustained winds of 30 to 40 mph were expected, with gust up to 55 or even 60 mph.
The National Weather Service issued tornado watches for most of the day in parts of Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and Iowa.
Wet, heavy snow fell in Nevada on Tuesday morning, closing schools in Reno and knocking out power to thousands before moving eastward. Northeastern Colorado and western Kansas and Nebraska expected 6 inches of snow and wind gusts up to 60 mph overnight — a combination that can cause white-out conditions.
“November has a history of producing some significant weather events. We will have to keep an eye on things,” said Greg Carbin, warning coordination meteorologist at the Storm Prediction Center.
The Storm Prediction Center cautioned 54 million people to be alert for severe weather.
